Terms of Service

Effective June 28, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and FTG Sports for using our sports-simulation games (a baseball game and a football game) and the ftgsports.net website. By creating an account or using the games, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. Who can use FTG Sports

You must be at least 13 years old to use the service. By using it, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that you can form a binding agreement with us.

2. Your account

You're responsible for your account and for keeping your sign-in details secure. Give us an accurate email address and keep it current so we can reach you about your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission. You're responsible for activity that happens under your account.

3. The games are free, simulated, and not gambling

FTG Sports is for entertainment. The games are simulations played with virtual rosters and standings. There is no wagering, no real-money prizes, and no purchase is required to play. Nothing in the games has cash value, and in-game outcomes are determined by our simulation, not by any real-world event you can bet on.

4. Acceptable use

Use the service in good faith. Please do not:

• Cheat, exploit bugs, or use bots, scripts, or automated means to gain an unfair advantage or to scrape the service.
• Disrupt, overload, probe, or attempt to break the security of the service or other players' use of it.
• Harass, threaten, or abuse other players, or post unlawful, hateful, or infringing content in league names, messages, or display names.
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with us.
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the service without our permission.

We may suspend or remove accounts that break these rules.

5. Content you create

You keep ownership of the content you create in the games (team names, league names, messages, and similar). You grant us a non-exclusive license to host, store, and display that content as needed to operate the service. You're responsible for what you post and confirm you have the right to post it.

6. Our content

The games, the website, the FTG Sports name and logo, and the software behind them belong to us and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the service for its intended purpose. Team and player identities shown in the public games are fictional or used for descriptive, non-commercial simulation purposes and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any real league, team, or player.

7. Third-party services

Signing in with Google is optional and subject to Google's terms and privacy policy. We rely on third-party providers (such as Cloudflare and Resend) to operate the service; their availability can affect ours.

8. Availability and changes

The service is provided as an ongoing project and may change. We may add, modify, or remove features, run maintenance, or discontinue parts of the service. We try to avoid disruption but can't guarantee uninterrupted availability, and league or simulation data may occasionally be affected by maintenance or errors.

9. Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't warrant that the service will be error-free, secure, or uninterrupted.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FTG Sports will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the service. Because the service is free, our total liability for any claim is limited to providing the service.

11. Termination

You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these terms or to protect the service or other players. Sections that by their nature should survive (ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability) survive termination.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. We'll update the effective date and, for material changes, give reasonable notice in the app or by email. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which FTG Sports operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be handled in the courts located there, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
